In the face of the shed renovation, have you noticed where the millions of tons of construction solid waste went? There are many problems in the work of urban sheds, and how to deal with these construction wastes is one of them.

In the first shed reform project in Shenzhen, Shenzhen has established the concept of green development from the source, from institutional design to technical application, to explore the effective path of ecological demolition in all aspects.

At the demolition site of the Buxin area in the “Second Line Flower Arrangement” of Luohu, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, a large-scale mechanical equipment called “Ke Lei” was roaring, one end swallowed all kinds of construction waste, and one end spit out fine particles. "Sandstone". This is a mobile impact crusher and mobile screening machine imported from Germany by Shenzhen Tianjian Group. The Luohu shed renovation project adheres to the concept of sustainable development of green environmental protection, and relies on various emerging technologies to treat and reuse the on-site demolition of building solid waste on site, and explores a unique “ecological shed change”. road.

70% of the construction solid waste site "eats in"

The "Luohu' second-line flower-arrangement' shed has a huge amount of change, and the situation is extremely complicated. It is called "the first difficulty of China's shed reform" by the industry. At the same time, what should happen to the construction waste generated after the removal of more than one thousand houses? Another problem," said He Haitao, secretary of the Luohu District Party Committee.

According to preliminary estimates, the Luohu shed conversion project will generate about 1.6 million tons of construction solid waste. If these construction solid wastes are loaded into a "dump truck" with a single transport capacity of 20 cubic meters, the vehicles can be connected up to 500 kilometers from end to end. How to deal with such a large amount of construction waste is an urgent and realistic problem that Luohu has to face.

It is alarming that one of the main reasons for the “12.20” special landslide accident in the slag soil receiving area of Shenzhen Guangming New District is that the slag is subjected to severe over-loading and loading of construction waste. Therefore, how to reduce the risk of safety hazards from the source of the waste field that is overwhelmed by the rapid development of urban construction has become one of the important issues to be considered in the Luohu shed reform project. At the same time, the “dump truck” for clearing construction waste is also a major problem in urban governance. A large number of multi-vehicle "dump trucks" not only bring great pressure to road traffic, but also the noise and dust generated by them have seriously affected residents' lives.

“The comprehensive treatment and reuse of construction waste is imperative. The Luohu shed reform is the first shed reform project in Shenzhen. The volume of demolition is so huge that it is necessary to carry out innovative exploration and actively play a demonstration effect.” He Haitao said.

“When we conducted the main bidding in March last year, we set up more than 70% of the building solid waste to be “eaten in” on the spot, which will turn the construction waste into a circulating building material after comprehensive disposal.” Nie Xinping, the head of Luohu District, told the reporter. The Luohu "second-line flower arrangement" shed reform has established the core concept of "green development" from the beginning of the project and is clearly included in the bidding requirements. These solid wastes contain a large amount of materials with utilization value. For example, resource treatment can not only effectively improve resource utilization, but also effectively protect the ecological environment and promote economic development. It can also provide future urban renewal and municipal construction. A new ecological development idea.

On February 21 this year, the special plan for the transformation of shantytowns in the second line of Luohu was officially released. The comprehensive utilization of construction waste is one of the seven emerging technical specifications, which is a major feature and highlight of Luohu shed reform.

Introducing advanced waste treatment models

How to deal with the huge amount of construction waste generated by the Luohu shed? Xin Jian, chairman of Tianjian Group, gave the answer. As the main body of the Luohu shed reform, Tianjian Group has formulated a comprehensive utilization plan for the actual situation of the project construction solid waste, and invested more than 60 million yuan to purchase various types of building demolition and mobile equipment, which has saved resources and protected the environment. The new production method, from the source to reverse the ecological damage caused by demolition.

Xin Jie told the reporter that the demolition buildings of the Luohu shed were located in the village, and the construction site was very narrow and the working conditions were complicated. According to the site situation, the combination of mechanical and manual removal was adopted.

According to Xin Jie, in order to ensure the safe and orderly scientific construction, when the house is demolished, the construction team of Tianjian Group will first pre-classify the construction waste by means of step-by-step demolition and step-by-step sorting. If the domestic garbage in the building to be demolished is cleaned first, and inspection is carried out to confirm the clean-up, the next step is started; then the doors, windows, pipelines, decoration, etc. of the building are removed, the organization is cleaned up, and inspection is carried out to confirm the clean-up and start the next work; Finally, the building is demolished, and the steel bars, pipelines, etc. in the building are mechanically sorted and manually sorted.

It is worth noting that due to the inability to provide a site for the construction of a fixed construction waste production line in Luohu and the surrounding areas, Tianjian Group has purchased the “Ke Leiqi” mobile crushing equipment produced in Germany, and launched the site on the construction solid waste. Treatment and comprehensive utilization, the building materials produced by demolition are crushed and screened, directly used for road cushion backfilling and other large-scale engineering projects, which can basically achieve 100% recycling.

Liu Tao, a postdoctoral fellow at Tongji University, explained that the mobile crushing and screening equipment has higher erection efficiency than the fixed crushing and screening equipment. It can work directly beside the raw materials to avoid secondary transport of materials and can be used for transportation of raw materials. Save a lot of money. In theory, “Ke Lei” can “eat” 350 tons of construction waste per hour. At present, the Luohu shed conversion project is equipped with 3 sets of “Ke Lei 镘” equipment.

Hierarchical treatment of construction waste

According to preliminary estimates, the main waste of the Luohu shed renovation project is about 1.6 million tons. According to statistics, the project will require the use of 400,000 square meters of internal partition walls and 80,000 square meters of permeable bricks.

How to effectively realize the recycling of construction waste resources? Xin Jie explained that in the comprehensive utilization plan formulated by Tianjian Group, the utilization of construction waste resources is divided into three levels: one is primary utilization, that is, on-site sorting and crushing, and the construction waste is processed into stone powder or brick. Powder (that is, materials of 0 to 10 mm size), used as general trenches and backfill of foundation pits, accounting for about 50% of the total disposal volume; second, intermediate utilization, recycled aggregates that are treated with construction waste (ie 10 Materials up to 31.5mm), processed into aggregates, used for low-grade road cushions, water-stable layers, low-grade concrete, etc., accounting for about 30% of the total disposal volume; third is advanced utilization, according to certain processes The building solid waste is processed into recycled products such as permeable bricks, curbstones, and inner partition walls, and the recycled asphalt mixture produced by the project is used for road construction.

Liu Tao told reporters that the inner partition wall does not bear the weight in the building construction project, and only plays a role in space blocking. After the building solid waste recycled aggregate is processed and reaches a certain quality standard, it can be made into a recycled concrete lightweight inner partition wall which is mainly used as raw material. The inner partition wall not only has high flatness of the wall material, but also eliminates the working condition of the wall plastering, saves the engineering quantity and labor cost of the plastering, and is thinner than the traditional wall in the same construction condition, and can be effective. Increase the actual use area of building construction projects.

The permeable bricks, which are mainly made of recycled waste from construction waste, are once pressed and formed, and can be used for urban road sidewalks and community garden roads. They are essential building materials for green building and sponge city construction.

Establishing an "ecological shed reform" system

As of mid-May, nearly 800 houses have been demolished in Luohu, and more than half have been dismantled; 700,000 tons of construction waste has been completed, of which the planned production of stone powder is 300,000 tons, and the planned aggregate production is 400,000 tons. . It is estimated that the project will consume 1.6 million tons of urban construction waste, which can save about 100 mu of land occupied by garbage disposal. The aggregate produced by the project can replace the natural aggregate, which can reduce the exploitation of non-renewable minerals, and some recycled building materials. The product replaces clay bricks, saving more than 200,000 cubic meters of soil per year and saving about 100 mu of cultivated land. In addition, significant reductions in emissions of harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide will be reduced.

Wang Shourui, member of the Standing Committee of the Luohu District Committee, executive deputy head of the district, and commander of the shed reform site commander, told the reporter that the implementation of the comprehensive utilization of construction waste in Luohu shed can play a good demonstration role, and it is a “reduction” of construction waste. “Resources”, “harmlessness” and “industrialization” of comprehensive utilization of construction waste explore a reasonable operation mode.

Under the influence of the green development of Luohu shed and the implementation of green development, at the end of last year, Shenzhen Municipality formulated and formulated the “Working Plan for Comprehensive Disposal of Construction Waste”. In May of this year, the Shenzhen Construction Waste Comprehensive Utilization Management Association, organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Engineering Corporation under the Tianjian Group, was formally prepared. The association covers all types of enterprises from the disposal of construction waste to the comprehensive utilization of the entire industrial chain integrating R&D, production and sales. According to incomplete statistics, these enterprises handle more than 500,000 tons of construction waste annually, and individual enterprises handle more than 1 million tons of construction waste annually.

With the comprehensive advancement of urban renewal work in Luohu District, the annual urban renewal project in Luohu is expected to produce nearly 7 million tons of construction waste during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. According to the notice issued by the Housing and Construction Bureau of Luohu District to strengthen the reduction and utilization of construction waste, it is required that the urban renewal project of the jurisdiction should cover more than 15,000 square meters of demolition and reconstruction projects, and comprehensive utilization of construction waste should be introduced in the demolition phase. Enterprises, and comprehensive utilization of construction waste at the project site. According to the relevant person in charge of the Luohu District Housing and Construction Bureau, since 2017, Luohu District requires all shantytown renovation projects to implement mobile on-site treatment of construction waste. At least two urban renewal projects each year use mobile on-site treatment of construction waste. Reduce the transportation and discharge of construction waste.
