Co-organized by the Macao Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology hosted the "Spiritual Supplementary History" Western Zhou Baguo Cultural Relics Exhibition. Recently, it was held at the Macao Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau Gallery, and 119 precious cultural relics met with Macao compatriots.
The exhibition is divided into three major exhibition areas: the hegemony of the hegemony, the glory of the hegemony, and the folklore. The 119 pieces of cultural relics exhibited in the exhibition were all unearthed in the Western Zhou cemetery of Dahekou, including bronzes, primitive pottery and porcelain, jade, gold and so on. The variety and connotation are rich. The cultural relics of this exhibition have been exhibited in the Beijing Capital Museum. The bronze plaque of the cultural relics is inscribed in the inside of the cover and the bottom of the dynasty. In 2007, due to the theft of the Dahekou cemetery, the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology carried out rescue archaeological excavations on the cemetery and found a large number of bronzes with the inscription "Ba", such as inside the cover of a bronze plaque, and found inscriptions. "The tyrants are for travel." The archaeological team speculated that the word "ba" should be the name or family name of the land. The discovery of the Dahekou cemetery is another major discovery in the history of Western Zhou archaeology after the Qucun cemetery and the Hengshui cemetery. In 2010, the Dahekou Baguo cemetery in Shanxi Yicheng was rated as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China. In the cemetery from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period, the Dahekou cemetery is large in scale, well preserved, long in time, and high in specifications. Because it is well preserved, it can provide important information and materials for the study of the burial system of the Zhou Dynasty. The exhibition will end on March 1, 2015.
