The Shanghai Fashion Design Association and Shanghai Fashion Week collaborated with Liao Xiaoling, a famous independent designer, to bring the Content Catalog 2013 Fall Winter Collection “Manmade” to the classics of melting multi-art costume vocabulary.

The new designer salon series launched by the Shanghai Fashion Design Association and Shanghai Fashion Week in 2013 aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between outstanding designers from home and abroad and their brands and buyers, and also allow more fashion lovers to have Opportunity to learn about the designer brand at a close distance and appreciate the charm of creative fashion.

As the main content of the Shanghai Fashion Design Association's 2nd Season Designers' Salon event, the first exposure of the 2013 Autumn/Winter collection “Manmade” created by Liao Xiaoling met with on-site media and brand customers. According to the designer, the series is inspired by the famous master director Kubrick's classic movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" (Space: 2001: A Space Odyssey) in the space age of the late 1960s (space age). In the wave, the film reviews and looks forward to the fate of humanity. The new catalogue of Content catalogues originated from this humanistic sense of space. The "Manmade" series starts with a highly-stretched geometric image, with clear colors and a simple, large silhouette that emphasizes high contrast in texture choice.
