Please note that the quality of the aramid 1313 yarn is a problem.

In late March 2007, our factory purchased 500 kg of aramid yarn from Guangdong Caiyan Co., Ltd. for weaving base fabric to produce high temperature needle felt. Due to the tight time and the trust of Guangdong Caiyan Company, our factory did not conduct temperature test on this batch of aramid yarn and put it into production. After the production of a batch of products, after testing, the temperature resistance did not meet the requirements, and it has contracted by about 10% at 200 degrees. Therefore, in mid-April, the quality appraisal was submitted to Caiyan Company, and the sample of aramid yarn was sent back.

After confirming that Caiyan received the samples for one month, no clear answers and results were obtained. I have no choice but to send samples for testing. Tested at the Southern Science and Technology Testing Center of the textile industry, the result is that the dry heat shrinkage rate of this batch of aramid 1313 yarn reached 6.5% in an environment of 204 degrees an hour. There are serious quality issues.

Now Caiyan Company also agrees with this test report, acknowledging the quality problem of aramid yarn, the aramid yarn is externally processed, not by itself, and said that this product meets national standards and corporate standards. After that, our factory asked Caiyan to present corporate standards and national standards. They used various reasons to push for these two standards. Prior to this, Caiyan did not explain to our factory that the aramid yarn has a heat shrinkage rate. Later, we compared it with Yantai's Aramid 1313 yarn. Yantai's heat shrinkage rate was working in an environment of 204 degrees for one hour without heat shrinkage. The product introduction of Caiyan Company is able to work normally under the environment of 220 degrees, and the service life can reach ten years. This is quite different from the actual use of the aramid 1313 yarn bought by our factory.

Now Caiyan Company puts forward suggestions on quality issues, and compensates 10% of the payment for this batch of our factory, and it is offset by the goods. In this regard, our factory can no longer purchase raw materials from Caiyan.
